Signs of a Happy Family

When you ask families, ‘Are you happy together?’ most people say yes. But how can we know if a family is a happy one?

(1) ......................... If your kids are afraid of telling you the truth, there is a problem. The children in a happy family care about their parents’ feelings, but they never hide their feelings or lie when they do something wrong or when something bad happens to them.

(2) ......................... In happy families, there is a strong sense of ‘we’ between the children and parents. You can hear the children say, ‘We like pop music,’ or ‘Are you coming to our house?’ These statements show that the children see their family as a team.

(3) ......................... In some families, children talk back to their parents, or their parents shout at them when there is a small problem. These things don’t happen in happy families because the children and parents try not to hurt each other’s feelings. This comes from the deep love they have for each other.
