SING, SING, SING!

My name is Jill. My friend Caroline wants to be on the television show “Sing, Sing, Sing.” She is a great singer, and she already passed two rounds of auditions. If she passes the next round, she will be on the first episode of the TV show! She is very nervous. Last night she told me that she wants to drop out of the contest. She thinks she will lose and doesn’t want to be embarrassed. I wanted her to feel better, so I dropped by her house and dropped off some posters of Michael Wheaton, her favorite singer. She put them on her wall immediately, and then she told me why she is nervous. There are five people in her group; if she does badly in the next audition, she will drop back to last place. It’s very hard to be on the show if you are in last place. I told her not to worry because she has a great voice, and I believe in her!
