Sloths

Sloths are interesting animals. Sloths have got big eyes and short noses. They also have got short tails. Sloths have different colours, but they are usually brown and green. Most animals move fast, but sloths move very slowly. They don't walk, but they pull themselves on the ground. They have got strong arms. They often stay in the trees because other animals can eat them on the ground.

Sloths live in Central and South America. Their home is in the rainforests. Sloths are omnivores. They eat insects and plants. They have to hide from carnivores because sloths move very slow. Carnivores cannot find them because they mostly stay in trees.
