Solid, Liquid, Gas

Solid, Liquid, Gas

We can see things in liquid, solid or gas form around us every day. They are everywhere in our daily lives. When I watch my mum in the kitchen, I can see them easily. My mum takes an orange. Orange is a solid thing. She cuts and squeezes it. She makes orange juice for me. Two minutes ago, the orange was solid. Now it’s a liquid. My mum changes its form and makes orange juice. Today is very hot. She takes some ice cubes from the fridge. She puts the ice into the orange juice. The ice melts in the orange juice. The ice was a solid, but now it’s a liquid. When you make tea, do you see the steam on the kettle? The water turns into a gas. Science is everywhere, even in our kitchens. It’s really amazing, isn’t it?!
