SOME FACTS ABOUT CANADA

Canada is the second largest country in the world after Russia. However, its population is only about one-fifth of Russia's. A total of 90% of the land is uninhabited. This means, the country is only a bit larger than the U.S. but only has 10% of America’s population. The US and Canada have the world's largest trading relationship.

At least 56% of the total population have earned a university degree. That’s 6% more than Japan at second place. That’s quite an achievement and something to be proud of!

Vegetarianism and Veganism are on the rise worldwide, especially in the younger generations. It’s estimated that 10% of the Canadians refer to themselves as vegetarians or vegans. The number is higher among the youth up to the age of 35.
