SPOTIFY, THE FUTURE OF MUSIC?

Spotify® is a music streaming service made by a Swedish music company. The idea behind Spotify was to make it easy for everyone to listen to music anywhere they want. Before streaming services, people bought their music in the form of CDs or downloaded them onto their computers. Then, they chose their favourite songs and put them on MP3 players. 

With Spotify, people can listen to music for free. They can get more services if they pay for a Premium account. Some people ask, ‘If the music on Spotify is free, how will musicians make money?’ Well, Spotify actually pays musicians for the number of plays on their songs. Some artists also put their songs on Spotify only for Premium listeners.

Some people think that Spotify is the future of music. A lot of people hope that artists will make better songs thanks to Spotify. People also think that some artists will stream their concerts for people who can’t go to their shows. Will Spotify provide these services? No one knows yet!
