Stolen Painting
It was a very sunny and dry day in Chesterfield. Mr Holm and his friend Cloves were working on another mystery case. One of the paintings in the museum was stolen. They were reading their notes about the crime.
Mr Holm: Cloves, what was Gerry doing when the painting was stolen?
Cloves: He was walking his dog in the park.
Mr Holm: What about Mrs Jones?
Cloves: She was watching a movie at the cinema with her friend James.
Mr Holm: What was Fred doing?
Cloves: He was sleeping at home because of the heavy rain.
Mr Holm: What was Mary doing?
Cloves: She was at a restaurant with her friends.
Mr Holm: And Holly? What was she doing?
Cloves: She was dancing at a party with her friends.
Mr Holm: How about Martin?
Cloves: He was listening to music in his room.
Mr Holm: I think I found the thief Cloves.
Cloves: Oh, really? Who is it, Holm?
