SUE AND BRIAN

Sue: Where have you been? I have been here nearly an hour now.

Brian: Sorry. I have been at the tournament all morning. Finally, we have finished it.

Sue: Have you eaten something?

Brian: No, not yet and I’m hungry. I haven’t had lunch.

Sue: Well then, I’d rather go out and eat something in the new Mexican restaurant down the street. Have you heard about it?

Brian: No, I haven’t. Have you ever eaten there?

Sue: Yes, I have. I was going to my friend Jason’s house for dinner but at the last minute he changed his mind and we ate there.

Brian: I’d rather be invited to his house because he’s a great cook. He went to a chef’s school in Paris. He makes the best chicken curry I’ve ever eaten. Have you ever tasted his cooking?

Sue: No, I haven’t. Maybe next time, but I’ve started feeling hungrier. Let’s go to his place and have chicken curry!

Brian: Ok. Let’s go then.
