SUE'S FAVOURITE SPORT

Hi! My name is Sue, and I want to tell you about my favourite sport. My favourite sport is called “Bocce”. Not everyone knows this game, it is not very popular. The origin comes from the Italian word “boccia” and it means “bowl” in English. It is like bowling because you use several balls to play this game. The balls are made of metal or plastic. There is a target ball and you need to throw the balls next to that target ball. For every ball you throw that is next to the target ball, you earn 13 points. You can play this with a group of people or in teams. In my school, there is a bocce club and on my club day, I play this game with my friends. Sometimes, I also play it at break time too! I love this game and each day I’m getting better at it.
