Summer routines

Summer routines

Jared: ‘This summer, I want my weekly routine to be different. I just want to relax this summer because this past year was very hard for me. On Monday and Tuesday mornings, I go to the park and run. Sometimes I see my friends playing football there, so I join them. In the afternoon and evening, I want to be lazy and play video games at home. On Wednesdays and Fridays, I go to Chinese classes and do my homework. I really like the Chinese language, and the classes aren’t difficult at all. On Thursdays, I go to a friend’s house to play. We play different games. On Saturdays and Sundays, my family and I have a picnic in the park, in the countryside or at the beach.’

Jenna: ‘I wasn’t very good at maths last year, so I go to maths classes five days a week – Monday through Friday. The classes are in the morning, so I wake up around 7.00 every day. In the afternoon and in the evening, I do my homework and then go out. I usually go to a café in my neighbourhood, but sometimes my friends and I go to a big café in the shopping centre. On Saturdays and Sundays, I don’t study anything. I just relax, watch TV, talk to friends on the phone and surf the net. Sometimes I go to the beach with my family, but I don’t often swim because I don’t like it.’
