SURPRISE

Last weekend we went to Maria’s house. On Friday she invited twenty people from our class to a gathering. 
When we arrived we saw that it was her birthday party. She surprised us! Here’s a picture from that Saturday night.
You can guess which girl Maria is. She’s the girl who’s wearing a blue dress. She cut her hair short last week,
but I think that’s cool! James is the boy who has sunglasses. He thinks he’s so cool, but he’s not!
Sunglasses in the house at night? Not cool! Tiffany is the girl who is standing behind Maria. She’s so sweet. 
The boy who’s waving at the camera is her brother, John. He’s a very sweet person, just like his sister. 
I met new people, too. Terra and her boyfriend, Matt, are Maria’s close friends outside school. 
They have funny smiles. I really liked them!
