Susan and Nikki

Susan and Nikki are best friends. Susan is kind, and Nikki is, too, so they have similar personalities. They both have perfect new sleds. They love sliding down snowy hills. One day, something bad happens. As Susan is sliding, her sled stops instantly. Her father finds a tiny metal broken piece, so her sled doesn’t work again. Nikki says, “Don’t worry, Susan. We can always use my sled together.” Susan says, “Thanks, Nikki. You are always my best friend.”
