Talented Little People

Some children have the ability to perform at a level that is beyond their peers of the same age. Some of the characteristics of a talented and gifted child are:

*learns quickly and easily

*reads from an early age

*shows curiosity and originality in thinking

*has an unusual sense of humour

*has a questioning attitude

However; they can get bored easily and have few friends. They can be oversensitive to criticism and can disturb others. Dr Linda Silverman says ‘’Gifted children are expensive and time-consuming’’. Because they usually sleep less and they have obsessive hobbies.
