Talking About School

Talking About School

Ashley: Last night’s party was amazing. It was one of those parties that you never want to see the end of.

Brian: I agree. I met lots of new people. Did you see that blonde girl?

Ashley: Which one? The one who had a blue shirt on?

Brian: No, the tall one. I think you didn’t see her. She was one of the students who left our school last year.

Matt: Yes, there were a lot of students who left our school. Why do you think she left? Did you ask her?

Brian: Well, she said she wasn’t happy with the teachers. She said the teachers who she took classes with hated her. Apparently, they gave her low grades.

Ashley:Interesting. We haven’t got teachers like that, right? Are there any teachers who hate some of the students at our school?

Matt: We may never know. But we can talk to students from other classes to find out.

Brian: I know some students who always have butterflies in their stomach when they’re a minute late or when they want to ask their teacher’s permission to go out.

Ashley: It could be that they’re just too sensitive. Or maybe their teacher is too strict.
