Talking about the Weekend

Alex: How was your weekend, David? Where were you?

David: I was at the hospital all day. My father was sick and I was with him there. I came home late with my mother and we were all tired. What about you?

Alex: I am sorry to hear that. I hope he gets better soon. I was at the shopping center with my mother. We bought a dress for her and a school bag for me. Then, we watched a film together at the cinema. It was a fun day for us.

David: How nice! Let’s go to the shopping center together next week.
