Technology of the Future

Nowadays, technology is in all parts of our life including things we use in our houses such as dishwashers, televisions, irons or devices for communication like mobile phones or computers. A hundred years ago, people lived without them and they could never imagine these technological devices. Now can you guess what will happen in another hundred years? Is it going to be better or worse with more technology? Let’s read different ideas about that.

Daniel: I think people will have an easier life in the future. There will be more machines so the people will work less. People will use technology more. There won’t be some jobs because the machines will do what some people do now. Also, some new jobs will appear that we don’t know today. Students won’t go to schools. They will have online schools that they will connect via internet. The future will be so much fun!

Nick: I am not very happy about what technology brings to people. In the future, when technology improves more, I think people will be lazier because they won’t want to do any work and the robots or some machines will do everything for them. People will use their technological devices more so they will be more antisocial and people won’t have many friends. They will have everything online and I don’t like this online life. I think people should go out to socialize with their friends but with the improvement of technology people will spend less time with their friends outdoors.
