That is My Village

Hi, everybody,

My name is Jane. I live in a lovely, little village near London. I live on Church Street and my best friends, Sally and Paula, live in the Town Square. We love it here! There are more things to do in London, of course, but there are lots of things to do here as well. We have a large community centre where we can do a lot of activities; my brother plays tennis there with his friends, my friends have drama classes on Fridays, and my mother does yoga there twice a week.

There is a big cafeteria in the village and we also have a small theatre where we can watch films. The cafeteria is next to the theatre and it sells delicious sandwiches and pizzas. Mr Smith is the owner and makes all the food. My family and I sometimes have dinner there.

My school is a new school but it isn’t very big. It has got a nice playground and we have a balcony in our classroom.

We have a wonderful park in the village with lots of flowers and trees. I love jogging and riding my bike at weekends.
