The Cemetery Challenge

• A  The next morning, he went to see his friend and check that he had completed the challenge, but on the way, to his surprise, he saw lots of people from the village standing near the cemetery. He ran to inspect what was happening. He saw his friend lying dead next to the grave. My grandpa saw his own nail on the gravestone. When he looked closely at his friend’s body, he knew what had happened. His friend had hammered his coat to the gravestone.
  
• B  My grandpa was naughty when he was a child. He liked to read stories about ghosts and tell them to little kids at night. He enjoyed making little children afraid.
  
• C  Finally, a man from the village died, and people buried him in a funeral. A few days later, they put a gravestone on the grave. My grandpa and his friend knew that they had to complete the challenge at night. That night, my grandpa went to the cemetery near the church to hammer the nail into the gravestone. He was shivering with fear, but he did it and quickly ran back home.

  I’ll give it to you if you hammer a nail to the gravestone of a newly dead person.’ My grandpa, who loved adventures of this kind, accepted confidently! They both waited for someone from the village to die.
