The Elephant and His Friends
Once there was a lonely elephant and he wanted to make some friends. He was wandering around the forest looking for some friends. While walking around, he saw a monkey on the tree and asked “Can we be friends?” The monkey didn’t want to be friends with the elephant and said “You are very big and you can’t swing in the trees like me.” The elephant was very sad but then he saw a rabbit. He asked the same question to the rabbit but the rabbit said, “You are very big so I can’t play with you.” After that, the elephant saw a frog and asked the same question again but the frog said, “You are too big to leap like me.” The elephant was upset but next he saw a fox and asked his question again and unfortunately the fox said he was very big for him to be friends.
The next day, there was a problem in the forest. All the animals needed help because there was a dangerous tiger around. The elephant found a solution and went to talk to the tiger. He said, “Please do not eat the small animals,” but the tiger didn’t listen to the elephant. After that, the elephant found another solution and kicked the tiger. The tiger was afraid of the elephant so he left the forest quickly and the elephant told this to all the other animals in the forest. After that all the animals said, “You are a very good friend for us.”
