The Girl at the Train Station

Tim was driving home one night when he saw a girl waiting outside of the train station all by herself. The girl seemed like she was lost. She didn’t have a jacket and she had on slippers and not shoes. He stopped his car and slowly approached her. He asked her if she needed a ride. It was very cold outside, so he took off his jacket and gave it to her. The girl's name was Elizabeth. She seemed very mysterious but also very peaceful. She was on her way home but couldn’t find a taxi or reach anyone at home, so she was stuck at the train station she said. After a couple of minutes, they arrived at her house. The house was very old, and Tim thought it looked like a haunted house out of a movie.  Elizabeth got out of the car and Tim said good night and went home.

The next day Tim remembered that Elizabeth still had his jacket. He drove to her house and knocked on the door. An old man answered. Tim told her that he drove Elizabeth home last night and that she has his jacket. The old man looked terrified. Tim saw a picture of Elizabeth hanging on the wall behind the man. He pointed and said that she was Elizabeth. The old man looked at him with his eyes wide open and with his voice shaking…
