THE GOLDEN EGG

Once upon a time there was a rich man. He lived with his wife in a village. They had two children. They were very rich. They had a beautiful chicken. They had one egg from their chicken every day. It was not a normal egg. It was a golden egg. But the man was greedy. He wanted to have more eggs! He started to give the chicken more food to get more golden eggs. But the chicken laid only one golden egg again. He was shocked because he wanted more! Every day he gave the chicken more and more food. The chicken got fatter and fatter but still laid only one golden egg. One day, the chicken died because it ate too much. The man was sad because he lost his chicken and also the golden eggs. He was very rich with one golden egg, he wanted more but became poor.
