The Group Work

The Group Work

In English lesson the teacher told the students to sit in groups because they would do group work about their favourite book character. Jack, Pam and Juan wanted to be in the same group and they started to work together quickly.

First, they needed to choose their favourite book character. Pam said “What about choosing Cinderella? I think she is cute.” Juan said, “I don’t think it is a good idea. I think boys don’t like that character.” Pam said, “You are right, Juan. Let’s choose a character both boys and girls like.” Juan said, “How about choosing Pinocchio? I think all the children like him.” Everybody said, “That’s a great idea. Let’s start!”

Jack made the puppet of Pinocchio. Pam made some clothes for him and Juan wrote some sentences for him. It was a great presentation. Everybody loved it. At the end of the presentation the teacher said, “Choosing Pinocchio as a character was a very good idea. I loved your puppet and his clothes.” The teacher took their puppet and put it in a corner in the class and everybody at school saw their puppet the whole year.
