THE HAPPY ANIMALS ZOO

The Happy Animals Zoo is very special because the animals get everything they need. The zookeepers and the visitors are friendly to the animals, so the animals get lots of love from the visitors and the zookeepers. They get their food regularly and their cages are always clean and tidy, too.

Mr Denver is the owner of the zoo. He likes to spend time with the animals. At weekends, he plays with tigers and gorillas. The visitors like to watch him and they sometimes want to join in. However, Mr Denver doesn’t let them play because it’s too dangerous for the visitors. Mr Denver’s wife, Becky, often plays with the elephants and their daughter Sarah sometimes visits the gorillas in their cage. She has a lot of fun with the gorillas.

The animals get good food. The gorillas eat more than 150 different things, including tropical food and strawberries. All the animals look very well and healthy.

The zoo is a very old and beautiful park. It has some of the oldest trees in England. Many animals, like the deer, walk freely round the park.

The best time to visit Happy Animals Zoo is early in the morning or late in the evening.
