The Lion and The Mouse

There’s a big lion in the jungle. He is the king. The big lion is sleeping. There is a small mouse. The small mouse

sees the lion and says, “What a big lion! He has got a big body!” The lion wakes up. He is angry! He roars and

catches the mouse. “I want to eat you!” the lion says. The mouse says, “Please don’t eat me! I can help you one

day.” The lion says, “You are small. You can’t help me. Now, go away and never come here again!” The mouse

runs away very fast. One day, the mouse hears a noise! “Grrrr!” The mouse sees the lion in a trap! The lion says,

“Please, little mouse, help me! Help!” The mouse jumps on him, and cuts the trap with his small teeth. The lion

is very happy now. He says, “Thank you, little mouse.” They are now very good friends!
