The Lion and the Mouse's Adventures

Under a big palm tree in a jungle, there is a lion sleeping. A mouse runs over the lion’s nose, and wakes him up. The lion gets angry. The mouse is very scared. ‘I’m sorry,’ says the mouse, ‘Please don’t eat me! I can help you one day.’ The lion smiles. ‘You are funny!’ he says, ‘You are just a little mouse! How can you help me?’ The lion is calm now and lets the mouse run away.

A year later, when the lion is walking in the jungle, a big net falls over him. The lion gets angry and roars. The mouse hears the lion and runs to help him. ‘Don’t move,’ says the mouse, ‘I am here to help you.’ The mouse chews the net and makes a big hole. The lion is free now. He thanks the little mouse and says, ‘You may be little, but you are very kind and helpful.
