The Miserable Man and The Poor Horse

The Miserable Man and The Poor Horse

There was a miserable man. He was always unhappy, and he said to his horse, “You never do anything good for me, you always get into trouble”. One day he had to take many heavy things to the market. He loaded them on the horse, and the horse seemed curious but didn’t say or ask anything. He could carry them all. The man earned a lot of money for this work. He was very happy, and he realised that his horse was a good horse, and he felt sorry for him. This time the horse was miserable because he was thirsty. The man said to his horse, “I’ll go to the well and fetch some water for you.” The horse drank the water, and he was happy. The man looked after his horse very well after that.
