The New Neighbourhood

The New Neighbourhood

Emily: Are you happy with your new house, Tom?

Tom: Yes, I am. It’s in a nice neighbourhood, and it’s got a lot of rooms.

Emily: Tell me about your neighbourhood. What is it like?

Tom: It’s a big neighbourhood, and there are a lot of cool places.

Emily: Are there any cafés?

Tom: Yes, there are. There is one near my house, and there are five cafés near the university.

Emily: University?

Tom: Yes, my university is near my house now.

Emily: That’s great. So, I think there are a lot of libraries around your neighbourhood.

Tom: Not really. There’s only one in the park, and I don’t go there because there aren’t many tables and chairs inside.

Emily: So, where do you study?

Tom: In the university’s library. It’s very big and there are big quiet rooms in it. Inside the rooms, there are big desks with computers on them. And the chairs are comfortable.

Emily: Good for you. We haven’t got a good library on our campus. The rooms are small, and there are only a few old computers. I use my own laptop there.

Tom: That’s too bad. I hope you get a bigger and better library soon.
