THE QUEEN EVENT

Read the conversation and answer the following questions.

Rosa : Hi, James. You look tired. Did you sleep well last night?

James : Oh, actually I’m tired. I was at the Queen concert yesterday.

Rosa : What? I thought Queen was dead.

James : Well, that was a concert by a local band Cingi, who is known for its successful covers of Queen's classics. I went there with my uncle. The band played at Babylon for a special performance.

Rosa : Your uncle? You must be kidding? How old is he?

James : He’s in his sixties but he was a great fan of Queen when he was young. He knows all of their songs. He sang and danced all night. It was amazing.

Rosa : Was it?

James : Yes, Cingi was really good. It was a tribute concert you know. Cingi played for Queen and Freddy Mercury lovers for the first time at Babylon. He performed “Bohemian Rapsody,” “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions.”

Rosa : “We are the champions?” Isn’t that the song that the fans sing in football matches?

James : Yes! Didn’t you know that it was Queen’s song?

Rosa : Not really!

James : His tribute concert was a great success. Maybe, you should also join us next time.

Rosa : Why not? It sounds great. I’d love to.

James : During the concert, my uncle was dancing and singing so much that Cingi called him to the stage and they sang a song together.

Rosa : Wow! How lovely. I’ll definitely join you for the next one.
