The Solar System

Space is a mystery for most people. Astronomers and scientists have explored a lot of our solar system. The Sun is at the centre of the solar system, and there are eight planets that orbit it. Mercury is the smallest planet. It is very hot, but Venus, the second planet from the Sun, is hotter than Mercury. Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system. The Earth has got life on it. It is the planet where we live. Saturn is very big and has got beautiful rings. Jupiter is bigger than Saturn and is the biggest planet. Uranus is very far from the Sun and very cold, but Neptune is farther, but not colder. In fact, Uranus is the coldest planet in the Solar System.
