The Sporting Event

Andy: This is the most exciting sporting event this year. Look! Everybody is trying to show how good they are.
Laura: Right. First, we have the running race. Brian is the only runner from our class. I hope he wins. He runs so fast.
Andy: I hope so. Carlos is a fast runner too. He’s from Linda’s class.
Laura: I know him. Everybody says he’s the fastest runner in our school.
Andy: What’s after this race?
Laura: We have the long jump. There’s nobody from our class.
Andy: Right, but my sister is. She can jump very well, but there are two jumpers who are better than her.
Laura: Really? Who are they?
Andy: Tina and Charlotte. Tina runs very fast and jumps very, very long. I think she’s the champion this year again.
Laura: I wish the best for your sister.
