The Surprise Birthday Party

Yesterday I had one of the best days of my life. By the time I went home, all my friends and relatives had arrived there. My parents had organized a surprise birthday party for me. Before the day of the party, my mother had called all my friends to invite them and my father had called our relatives to come to our house. Thanks to all of them. We had great time together.

Let me tell you more details about what we did on my birthday party. We ate all the delicious food that my mother and grandmother had cooked for us. After that, I blew out the candles and we ate my strawberry cake. My parents knew that I loved strawberry cake. After that, two of my friends started to play the guitar. Some people danced and some sang songs. We played some board and card games. After everybody had danced, the house was so hot so we had to open the windows but unfortunately, that noise disturbed our neighbours and one of our neighbours knocked on the door and she said “I am trying to put my baby sleep but this noise is disturbing us”. After my father had heard this, he said “We are very sorry. Next time we will be more careful”.

After the neighbour had left the house, we were more careful about the noise that we made. Before playing the music again, we had closed all the windows first. All the people were more careful about not talking or laughing loudly.

I was very lucky that the party was on Saturday because I went to bed late so I woke up late on Sunday. I didn’t want to eat or drink anything for a long time because I was still full. All my family was in the same situation so we had brunch at 1 o’clock. During the whole brunch, we talked about how nice the party was. I thanked all of them.
