A series that everyone is talking about these days is Stranger Things. It is a short 8-part series set in a small American town in the 1980s. One part thriller, one part sci-fi, one part horror; this series has it all! It starts off with a young boy mysteriously going missing in the woods and a strange girl finding her way out of the woods. The script is excellent and the boy’s mother is played by Winona Ryder, who is making her small-screen comeback. The special effects are really well-done and not over-the-top for most of it. The characters are all played very well, especially the main group of children at the center of the story. The plot is farfetched but works well. The ending was amazing. I cannot wait for the second season!
