The Unsolved Mystery

Everything happened at once at midnight so nobody understood why and how it happened. A large lorry drove into a house in our street but the unexplained thing was it appeared to have no driver. The police and detectives started to investigate the case. Everyone wanted to know where the driver was. Video recordings of the street are needed to solve the mystery. If they watch the recordings, it will be easier to solve the mystery. Some locals said that the lorry had never been seen around the neighborhood before, so nobody knows who it belongs to. One of the residents said: “We would be able to solve the mystery if we had seen the truck before.” 

The detectives have been interrogating people and they have talked to ten people in town so far. However, they couldn’t find anything useful. One of the detectives said: “It’s a complicated event. Even though most residents say that they don’t know who the truck belongs to, an old man has been very helpful to me. He says that the truck belongs to a man who used to live in this town, but he moved from here many years ago and nobody has seen him since then. If we find the driver, we will solve the case immediately.”

Witnesses say that the truck was moving very fast and there was a loud noise. If it had been slower, people would have seen the driver. The case is still unsolved because the detectives found out that the owner of the lorry died 8 years ago and his relatives have no idea how the lorry got there.

The town people were fortunate because it happened in the middle of the night. If it had happened during the day time, many people would have been injured and some might have been killed.
