THE WEIRDEST JOBS
GUM BUSTERS:
Did you ever stick your chewing gum under your chair or your seat on the school bus? Well, we all do it! And you should actually keep on doing it, because if you don’t, you´ll leave gum busters without a job. A Dutch chemist created the ‘Gum Cart’ – a machine that removes gum in just 5 seconds! And Gum Busters get a lot of contracts to remove gum from parks, stadiums, etc. As long as people keep sticking chewing gum under tables and benches, gum busters will keep their jobs.
PROFESSIONAL WHISTLER:
Believe it or not, this man whistles tunes and does it for a living! Professional whistlers make music for television shows, movies, commercials, and other media. Henry Brady is a 58-year-old whistling performer. “A whistler is an artist just like an actor or musician,” he told FOX News. “My profession took me across the world and helped me touch people’s hearts.” Brady says that to be a professional whistler, you need talent, self-confidence, and experience.
LION TAMERS:
Lion taming is the practice of animal training. It involves taming lions for protection or entertainment, especially in the circus. They tame other big cats too, such as leopards, jaguars, cheetahs and tigers. Lion taming is a very dangerous occupation because of the risks of working with powerful carnivores. This job exists in zoos all across the world. Lion tamers enable less dangerous feeding.
