THEME PARKS FOR FUN
There is a big list of new things to do in America’s big theme parks. They open more than 135 new water parks, rides, and shows every year in the U.S.A. There are also 20 new roller coasters.
Disneyland is the most popular theme park in the world. There are Disney theme parks in many different countries like U.S.A, Japan, France, Hong Kong, China and Hawaii. There is now a larger Fantasyland at Florida’s Walt Disney World. There is the new Cars Land at California’s Disneyland. Another popular ride is the new Transformers Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Fantasyland inside the Magic Kingdom in Florida is the largest Disney theme park project. It has new mini-parks that include rides, restaurants, and stores. Also Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid are all there.
These kinds of theme parks are popular. People feel like they are in a different world. The Harry Potter Park at Universal Orlando is really great. Visitors feel like they are on the movie sets.
The new rides and shows bring in more visitors. Cars Land at Disneyland California Adventure is like the town of Radiator Springs from the movies. It has a racecourse ride.
SeaWorld Orlando is very different than these. It’s the first show place with a curved top. You feel like you are inside a bubble. It shows a 3-D movie about sea turtles. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has a different kind of show place. It has an ice show called “Iceploration.” There are people skating and birds flying around inside. The show tells the story of a kid. He puts down his electronic devices and discovers the natural wonders of the world.
Some people love roller coasters. Manta at SeaWorld San Diego is great. It feels like an underwater flight. Six Flags Great America in Illinois has a new roller coaster called X-Flight. Riders have their feet down and go up for 12 storeys. Then the ride falls down. It is a very exciting experience.
