Thrillers are types of films which include excitement, suspense, expectation, uncertainty, anxiety, and tension. In thrillers, the goal is to keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Viewers look forward to the climax where the real tension arises. Usually, the main character finds himself in a dangerous and potentially deadly situation. Unpredictable and mysterious events in the movie make it more exciting.

Thrillers generally have features of adventure, action, crime and even sci-fi movies. Characters can be criminals, stalkers, assassins, innocent victims, psychotic individuals, sociopaths, agents, terrorists, cops and more.
