Tina's New House

Dear Mary,

How are you? We have just moved to a new house and it is great. I loved it so much. It’s on a quiet street, it is so relaxing. It’s got a beautiful garden in front of it with lots of lovely trees and flowers. There is a little lake and a park near my house. I can go there with my bike.

I live with my mum, dad, sister and our cute dog Fluffy. Sometimes my grandparents and cousins come and stay with us. Our new house is bigger than the old one. That means now I can also invite my friends for a sleepover.

Our house has got three floors. On the ground floor there is a huge living room with nice curtains and armchairs, a dining room, a modern kitchen and a small toilet. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms and two small bathrooms. My bedroom is at the top of the house, in the attic! My sister also wanted to stay there but finally we drew lots and I was the lucky one. From my window I can watch people walking and running. There aren’t many cars passing, mostly people and dogs. In my bedroom there is a light pink carpet, a nice wooden bed, a small desk for doing my homework, and an old wardrobe next to the window. There are lots of posters on the walls, too.

It’s a really nice house. I hope you can come and stay with us when you have a break in your school.
