TO PLAY OR NOT TO PLAY!

TO PLAY OR NOT TO PLAY!

The Chinese philosopher Confucius said a long time ago that “Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without.” It has many benefits and can bring joy to you and to everyone around you. Here are some benefits of playing an instrument:
Increases the capacity of your memory
Both listening to music and playing a musical instrument make your brain more active and have positive effects on the capacity of your brain. Playing a musical instrument changes the shape and the power of the brain. If you learn how to play an instrument, the parts of your brain that control your motor skills (swimming, running and using your hands, etc) and memory will grow and become more active.
Makes you a good member of a team and helps you be more organized
If you play an instrument, time will be very important for you. You will need some time to practice and learn to cooperate with a group of people to perform together as a band or an orchestra.
Sharpens your skills and knowledge
Reading musical notes requires counting notes and rhythms and can help your maths skills. Studies have shown that students who play musical instruments are better at maths. They also have a chance to learn more about other cultures with the help of different music types.
