Tom
My parents think that I watch too much TV. I usually come home around three o’clock every day, and it usually takes only half an hour to finish my homework. My parents both work and they don’t come home before eight o’clock. I have nothing to do in the afternoons so I usually watch TV. I like watching documentaries. They are very educational, and I can learn many things from them. My friends think that documentaries are boring. I also watch quiz shows. My parents don’t watch TV at all. My mother likes reading books, and my dad spends his free time making model cars.
Chin Yu
I spend my free time playing online games. They are fun and exciting. Also, I learn many things from them. For example, I meet many new people around the world, and sometimes I need to communicate with them to complete some tasks. My English is not so good; when I don’t know what a word means, I look it up in a dictionary. I need to learn and remember many words to be a good player. My brother also plays online games, but he doesn’t spend as much time as I do. We make a great team, but we don’t play together very often because my brother studies a lot for his exams.
Selena
I love writing stories. I usually write adventure stories about heroes and villains. Whenever I finish a story, I give it to my uncle to read. He loves reading adventure stories and he also gives me feedback about them. I have a website where I share my stories with my friends. My French teacher says I should write stories in French too, but I can’t. French is too difficult!
