Tom’s Old Town

Tom’s Old Town

Tom went back to the town where he was born. Middleton, a small and lovely town, has changed a lot. Tom walked around and thought about his memories.

‘This town is very important to me. I spent half of my life here. I have memories in every part of it. For example, I can remember Mrs. Rosie’s garden, which was full of apple trees and a beautiful fountain, but there is a cinema there now. Two years ago, they knocked down the market and built a megastore. You can find everything in it, but people still miss the old market. My school which is in good condition now, used to have old and broken walls. It looks modern with lots of new facilities. They even built an exhibition hall next to it. By the way, I shouldn’t forget the town hall, which was the tallest building at that time. It is surrounded by lots of skyscrapers today. I have a lot of memories which I’ll never forget in this town. It’s impossible to forget my school days which were full of fun and excitement. I can never forget the ones who were with me in those days, too. I met the love of my life at a school dance who later became my wife. At a school dance. Then, we went to the graduation party together and danced all night. It was a special night that everybody looked forward to for a long time.’
