Tomoko' s Class

My name is Tomoko. I live in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, but l'm not Brazilian. I come from Japan. Actualiy, l'm Japanese! My father works for a car company, so we live in Brazil for his job. Today l'm going to tell you about my friends at school. 

I go to a special school in Rio. lt's full of students from all around the world. My best friend sits next to me in all my classes. His name is Paul. He's from France. He is French. My other good friend is Alia. She's lraqi; she's from lraq. 

There are not many students in our class. lt's quite small. There are twin brothers from lstanbul in Turkey. They are Turkish. Everyone likes them. They are calied Ali and Mehmet. Ali likes football but Mehmet likes chess. 

Anna also likes football. She is from Kenya. Her mother is Kenyan, but her father is actually from China. He's Chinese! 

I love my school. There are so many people from different places. We celebrate lots of different festivals from lots of different cultures and we can learn lots of new things from each other.
