Top two outdoor sports for kids
In today’s world, there are hundreds of television stations, video games, and interactive websites that keep kids occupied for hours without stopping. This makes many of today’s children feel perfectly happy to spend their free time sitting still. We used to talk about kids and use words like “basketballs” and “jump ropes” – but today we use words like “obesity,” and “diabetes”. So, how can we get our kids up and moving again? Here are two popular outdoor sports for kids and the benefits they offer today’s children.
Baseball & Softball
Little boys and girls have a dream to be baseball players. Why don’t you let them start early? Kids who are 5 can learn how to play T-ball. After that, they can start softball and then baseball. Most local baseball teams are part of the national Little League Baseball organization. In fact, nearly 3 million kids in America today between the ages of 5 and 18 participate in Little League. Bicycling
Every kid remembers learning how to ride a bike. A bike is a great exercise. Kids can start on a plastic, three-wheel tricycle as young as age 2. Parents can then introduce a two-wheeler with training wheels around the age of 5. When your child learns to ride a bike, they start the training wheels within several months.
