Toy designers have one of the most important jobs in the world: making children happy. Toys have different styles such as handmade wooden toys, plastic action figures, dolls, robotic toys and more. Toy designers design and create them all. Toy designers must keep the following in mind as they work:

- Is this a good idea for kids?

- Is this toy fun to play?

- Is it safe?

If you want to be a toy designer you must know how to use materials properly so that toys are safe, strong and easy to use. Designers should also be knowledgeable about children and know what a child can do at different ages. They must also have a great imagination and love creating things. They must have mechanical skills and love gadgets.
