1. When murderer Daniel Mitchem escaped from prison in New Mexico, USA, he decided to go to his house to hide. At first the police couldn’t find him in the house, but they looked for him in the fridge when Mitchem’s young daughter shouted, ‘Daddy’s there!’ Mitchem was very cold when the police arrested him.

2. Police in Sweden stopped a woman at an airport because they realised she was bringing something into the country illegally. The woman had 65 baby snakes in her clothes. When the police asked her about the snakes, the woman confessed. ‘I wanted to start a snake farm’, she said.

3. A robber in Brazil planned to steal some musical instruments from a social club. First he stole a car and then he went to the club. He took the instruments, but he also noticed that there was a lot of food there, and he was really hungry. He had some chicken, about 3 loafs of bread and 2 pints of ice cream! What did the police discover when they arrived at the club the next morning? The robber was asleep on the floor!

4. Two armed robbers tried to steal money from a shop in New York City, but they didn’t succeed. One of the robbers injured his partner with a gun by accident, and they started to argue. The police soon arrived and they arrested both men.
