TV Programmes

I watch TV every day. I like lots of different programmes, but my favourites are chat shows and reality shows. My mum likes them too. My dad watches only sports programmes but I don’t enjoy them. We also like watching the news.
There’s a great reality show on at the moment. The competitors are really interesting people. They sometimes argue too much but I still like it.

There are a lot of good programmes on TV, so I can find something to watch almost all the time. I am usually very tired when I come home after school so I try to finish my homework as soon as possible and start watching TV. I like watching documentaries because they are very educational. I’m also a big fan of reality shows like Big Brother.
In Big Brother they get real people together in a house for a few weeks. The house is full of cameras so you can watch how they behave. Sometimes the people are celebrities. At the end of the week viewers send text messages to decide which of the people will leave the house next. I love that!

I am a really busy person and I don’t have much time to watch TV. I can’t say there is much to watch anyway. I can’t understand how people can watch all those silly programmes. The only thing I find interesting is the news. I learn a lot about what is happening all around the world.
What I really hate are those reality shows, like the one where they put people in a house for a few weeks and then film how they behave. I think that it is like watching animals in a zoo. It seems to me that the people who make these programmes always put some really strange or selfish people in the house. I can’t understand how people can find their behaviour entertaining. I find it very annoying.
