TWO DIFFERENT HOUSES

Amy:
I live in a flat near a busy street in the city. It’s not my dream house, but I have a very adventurous life here. I always do sports on weekdays, so I decided to have an exercise room with some equipment in my house. I never get bored at my house. When I feel lonely, I use my smartphone to play online games or talk to my parents, who live in a different city. I miss them so much, but we always keep in touch with the help of technology.

Cindy:
Although my parents and I live in a small town, our house is big. It’s a duplex with six bedrooms, three different living rooms, four bathrooms and two kitchens. The house also has a terrace. It’s a dream house for many people. In my opinion, this house is too big for us, because only five people live here: my parents, my two brothers and me. My friends sometimes come to my house and stay here. Our house is good for hosting parties, so my mum likes to organise parties for birthdays, Christmas and other special days. My father doesn’t like parties, but my brothers think that it’s a great idea to have parties with their friends. Me? I’m not sure. I’d rather live in a smaller house with only one living room so that all the family members gather together there. Now, everybody spends time in different rooms.
