Two Photos

I found these two photos the other day. They are both wedding photos but they are very different. I think the couples in the photos must be very nervous but also pleased to be getting married. 

The first photo is obviously modern, but the second one seems to be from around 50 or 60 years ago. The first one is more colourful; the groom is wearing a red bow tie and a red flower in his lapel. The bride is wearing red and white flowers in her hair and she also has a flowery bracelet. Her dress is white and sleeveless. 

However, in the second photograph we can’t see how colourful their clothes are because it is in sepia tones. The groom seems to be wearing a black or dark blue suit, and the woman appears to be wearing a traditional white dress with sleeves. She is carrying a big bunch of flowers. They don’t seem to be very happy, but most photos from this time show people with similar serious expressions. Not many people smiled for photographs back then!
