Two Types of Dogs

A foxhound is a type of dog. People usually use them as hunting dogs. They can track a scent while running and can chase for hours. They are usually kept in packs, or groups for hunting. They love the outdoors. You can’t keep them in the house. Their fur coat is short and needs little care. They are usually black, tan and white.

A collie is another type of dog. It is very loyal and friendly and is popular as a family pet. They usually have a thick, straight fur coat. They can be brown and white, black with tan and white. They both have long heads and almond-shaped eyes. Their ears stand up straight. Their tail is long and bushy. People also use them to guard and herd sheep. The most popular collie is from an old TV programme named Lassie.
