Venus

Venus

Venus is the second planet from the Sun. It’s the hottest planet in our solar system because there are a lot of volcanoes on it. It has a very thick atmosphere that makes the planet even hotter. Because of the atmosphere and the volcanoes, it rains acid and metal on Venus. It is also the brightest planet in the Solar System, and people call it the evening star. On a cloudless night, you can see Venus in the sky. It has no moons or rings. It’s nearly the same size as the Earth, so it’s called the Earth’s twin.
