Visiting Europe is not expensive. You can do some activities for free! Here are nine things in three different cities that you can do for free. Plaza Mayor in Madrid is a fantastic place, and you can walk around for free. The Museo del Prado in Madrid is free between 6 and 8 p.m. So, you have two hours to look at some of the seven thousand paintings in the gallery.
The Louvre in Paris is usually quite expensive. However, on the first Sunday of every month, it is free to enter. On other days try the Muśee Carnavalet, where you can learn about the history of Paris. It is always free. The Place Georges Pompidou is also free. You can watch street entertainers and listen to the musicians there. Rome has got lots of free attractions, like the two-thousand-year-old Pantheon. Go to Piazza Navona and then walk to this beautiful building. On the last Sunday of every month, the Vatican Museum is also free. The Settimana della Cultura is a week in April when Italy’s national museums and galleries are all free to enter. It is very busy, too. So you won’t pay a penny in Europe if you choose the right time. Go to Europe and enjoy it for free!
